Miami Mc Ghostwridah is always on the move and it looks like he’s not slowing down as he delivers a cool set of bars on Jay- z & Kanye West “No Church In The Wild”
Q-Tip spoke on how the signing with G.O.O.D. Music came about in an interview with Hot 97′s The Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg Show.
Q-Tip explains that he began working with Kanye on his album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and their relationship developped from there.
“I was at Def Jam and I worked with Kanye since Dark Twisted Fantasy, Kan was like, Yo you should come work on this. I came through to Hawaii and we started working on Watch The Throne. He came through and we was just listening to joints. He was like, Whats up I said, I deejay and I got my thing. He said, Man, you should just link up with the team. It dont make no other sense but to do it. I was just like, lets do it.”
He also addressed the rumours of 2 Chainz singing to G.O.O.D. Music, and although he wouldn’t confirm anything, he says that they did work together on the G.O.O.D. Music collaborative album.
“Yeah. Its a joint with me and 2 Chainz and Rasheed, Common, at we messed around with. I dont know if we finished it. Then, there was another joint with Pusha that we were working on. So were messing around with ideas as well.”
There’s been two hard G.O.O.D. Music tracks released the past few days. Lifted, the producer of “Mercy,” which features Kanye West, Pusha T, Big Sean & 2 Chainz, spoke to Bootleg Kev about how he connected with Kanye.
“My manager had a relationship with Kanye and he played the music. It went from there,” he explained. “We started building and hopefully I’ve got a couple of joints coming out on this G.O.O.D. Music project in addition to the ‘Mercy’ joint.”
When asked what verse was his favorite, Lifted couldn’t choose,
“That’s a tough one. I’ve got to sit on it. I’m just hearing it like you’re hearing it,” he explained. “I’ll give you an answer next time.”
Working with the G.O.O.D. Music family, he said he had to step his game up,
“I’ve just had to step my game up,” he said. “The bar is set so high at G.O.O.D. Music. It’s the best of the best. We worked hard before this. I’m gonna continue working hard.”

A brawl broke out between rapper A$AP Rocky and his crew against a drunken crowd at the Vice Kills Texas party Sunday morning, ending the SXSW with a bang.
After a member of the A$AP crew had his do-rag apparently swiped by stage-diver, the concert was stopped while the Mob demanded its return. Someone in the crowd then threw a can of beer, hitting one of the guys onstage.
Despite angry yelling from both sides, Rocky tried to simmer down the situation and seemed on the verge of pulling it off — until someone threw another beer can at the rapper. At this point, Rocky warned against throwing anything onstage other than water or there would be consequences. When the crowd did not comply Rocky and his crew leapt into the crowd, fists flying.
Most of the audience scrambled to get out of the way, but several men mixed it up with the rappers as a full-blown brawl was in effect for several minutes. At least one audience person had a gash one his head from the fight. Eventually, security managed to clear the room and the police arrived to shut the party down.
Cash Money Records is being sued by EMI Records, according to Courthouse News Service.
Cash Money has neglected to pay royalties once again. Cash Money owes a reported $491,000 in royalties to EMI, for samples.
EMI stated the following, “Because Defendant has ignored numerous communications from EMI regarding Defendants contractual obligations, EMI once more is being forced to commence a lawsuit against Defendant to recover royalty payments. The sales of Defendants products have far exceeded the payments that EMI has received.”
“It is clear from Defendants conduct that it has no intention of honoring the Agreement.”
Big Sean recently sat down with Bootleg Kev and dropped some details on his Sophomore album. The album will feature production by Kanye West and No I.D.
Yeah, theres going to be some Kanye production. We had a couple of Kanye productions for the first one but they didnt make the cut. One got sample clearance, couldnt get the sample cleared in time, and the other one we just didnt think it fit the album. Yeah, we got a lot of stuff on deck, Big Sean told Bootleg Kev.
On the No I.D. produced song, Sean said, “No I.D., weve got a song thats going to change the world. Its very inspiring, said Sean. The inspiration, when youre inspired, when you get inspired, thats the best thing to do, through your music. I could tell you its an inspirational record thats going to change the world. One verse, I rap from a perspective and the other, I rap from a crazy perspective. Its a concept record, its crazy.
Since his debut album, Big Sean states that he’s ready to take it to another level, “Now, I can take it to another level with the artistry, and thats what Im really excited about, to be able to grow from there and go hard. I feel my new music is more reminiscent of my earlier work, only way better because Im a way better rapper now. So I think thats the best way to do it, to really take me back to what got me to where I am and just take it to another level.
