Bad Gal Ri-Ri Goes In On Chris Brown

Posted to Uncategorized» Hip Hop at 2013-05-10

Apparently Rihanna has had enough of Chris Brown and his big mouth. ?According to sources from Rihanna’s camp

She really blasted him, using language that made it sound like she never will get back with him again no matter what people think.

Rihanna was infuriated by Browns comment in an interview that he wasnt ready to be wife-ing someone as young as Rihanna.

She really thought that was a sexist, degrading thing for him to say, added the source, Especially after all Rihanna endured after he beat her and all that.

Chris Brown really has some nerve to fix his lips to say something like this after all he has taken this woman through. ?Typical nothing a** dude. ?If you weren’t ready to “wife her”, why the hell did you get back with her ?You should have left well enough alone!

Ghostface Talks New Wu-Tang LP, Confirms New Tracks By RZA

Posted to Uncategorized» Hip Hop at 2012-11-03

In a recent interview, Tony Starks admits RZA is contemplating releasing a new Wu-Tang album on the group’s 20th anniversary of their classic disc, Enter the Wu (36 Chambers).

Somewhere Ol’ Dirty Bastard is smiling from ear-to-ear.

Ghost admits he’s already recorded songs produced by RZA.

“While I was doing my Supreme Clientele shit, the second one, The Wally Era, I was doing joints for the next Wu album,” he revealed.

So far, their gunning for a November 2013 release date; however, other members haven’t submitted verses.

So, what’s the catch According to RZA for that to occur he must man the entire project.

“I’ve been talking to some of the guys, I was like, ‘Yo, look I would suggest you put down everything you know and trust me one more time,” he said last month in an interview about his directorial debut film, The Man With The Iron Fists.

Ghost is supportive of his vision explaining, “He knows what it takes to go ahead and get there. He done studied the game now.”

Ghostface continued, if anyone can creatively manage the nine member collective it’s Bobby Digital.

“I believe in him because if it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be standing here, regardless of what,” he said. “He still got this same hungry for this Wu shit.”

Only time will tell if the 36 chambers will drop another Wu banger.

When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong: 40 Glocc Sues The Game Over Brawl

Posted to Uncategorized» Hip Hop at 2012-11-02

Fighting and beefing makes for great diss records until footage is leaked of being on the receiving end of a beatdown.

Poor hip-hop, beefing hasn’t been the same since St. Tupac Shakur and St. Christoper Wallace left us. Ay Dios Mios!

And since technology has gotten into, it’s exposing these rappers as softer than toilet tissue.

40 Glocc (government name: Lawrence White) and the Game’s epic beef reached its zenith in early July, when the pair crossed paths at a party in the Hollywood Hills. When the party ended, a battle royale arose between the two outside.

At the time 40 was adamant about not pressing charges. In an interview in July he had these words to say about it.

“The police no damn well I don’t give no motherfucking statements. Like I said this shit is entertainment. Ain’t no motherfucking statements. Ain’t no charges pressed. Just keep it 100 with me like that though.”

Unfortunately for 40, the Game failed to take heed his advice of ‘keep it 100,’ and caused a change of heart.

Also unfortunate for both parties, the brawl was caught on video. I see you technology.

In the wake of the incident, Game’s camp released footage of the rapper serving 40 Glocc a can of whoop ass while recording it on his iPhone.

Sidebar: If the Game has learned anything from 50 Cent it’s how to properly humiliate a man and subsequently tarnish his hood pass. Let’s all take a moment of silence to indirectly pay thanks to 50 Cent.

In turn, 40 filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court against his rap peer over the incident.

Oh. Someone’s a paper gangsta.

In terms of street code, score one hundred points for the Game.

In terms of judicial code, score a thousand points for 40 Glocc.

Children, the Word of the Day is ‘assault.’ Shall we use it in a sentence Sentence: The Game is being sued by 40 Glocc for assault and battery.

The lawsuit cites 40 was caused bodily harm, and is seeking an unspecified amount as well as irreparable damage to his reputation and image as a rapper.

According to the Game, he ran into 40, promptly handed him a one-on-one beatdown then left, while 40 refutes via court documents that he was jumped by 15 men–many of whom drew guns on him–”for no reason.” He claims he tried to escape but the Game pointed the gun at his chest. He also said he warned him not to fight back or he would “end it right now.”

The lawsuit reads 40 was severely injured as a result of the altercation, suffering injury to his right eye, ribs, kidneys, right shoulder and back along with his face, head, legs, arms and hands.

Wow: absolutely tragic.

However, a source close to the Game (whom) maintains that the rapper, nor his entourage, pulled weapons on 40 Glocc, insisting it was “a one-on-one fight.”

Somewhere, 50 Cent is laughing from the depths of his soul.

Hopefully, Rihanna and Karrueche are taking notes.

New Track Alert: Guap by Big Sean

Posted to Uncategorized» Hip Hop at 2012-10-29

Finally, a new track from Big Sean.

After being featured on every other artists’ songs, the G.O.O.D. Music alum just released his own offering in the form of “Guap” from his sophomore set Hall of Fame: Memoirs of a Detroit Player.

A fun track set to a bass heavy, calypso-inspired beat finds Sean boasting about–what else–his newfound guap.

For my non-Spanish speaking brethren, that’s lingo for ‘pretty penny’ meaning a considerable amount of disposable cash.

A member of G.O.O.D. Music bragging about opulent wealth

Surprise, surprise.

“I’ve been in the studio with Kanye West talking with ‘Ye, building ideas with No I.D., even with Nas, with other people and really talking to ‘em and soaking up where their minds is at,” Big Sean told MTV News. “Then taking that and applying it to what I know myself. It ain’t no choice but to be good.”

Someone’s taking notes from ‘Ye.
